Adult Survivors of Childhood Cancer at Higher Risk for Meningiomas

Certain chemotherapies are associated with an increased long-term risk of subsequent tumors in survivors of childhood cancer, according to a study led by researchers at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The findings, published in JAMA Network Open, could have important implications for the care of adults who had cancer as a child, particularly those treated for leukemia and brain tumors.
